Winter running has its ups and downs, highs and lows. Running during or after snow can be amazing! I can’t help but marvel at the beauty of snow on the trees and rooftops. The temperature this morning was a low. Wow… a real feel of 29 below zero! The key for me is to dress in the appropriate layers.
Ice is a major issue for my winter running. As careful as I try to be, those icy spots often take me by surprise. I wear spikes on my shoes, made specifically for winter running. The spikes will stay on my shoes probably until March.
