When someone asks, Why run?, there can be multiple good reasons. The most obvious would be if someone is chasing you. I don't think that applies to people who run regularly, or if so, would be a stressful existence. The next most obvious would be to win. This seems to cover the younger runners and those who are super fit. We've got some of these in the family. For instance, this guy: For others, it's a good outlet for stress and mental clarity. I really mean it helps you appreciate the people in your life even when they don't deserve it. It could even be your way to stay connected with friends and make some new ones such as the staff running club I've been attending for about a year. We still have the same two members and we are the only two CSB alums on staff. Go Bennies! Whatever your reason, it is a great reason to run if running enhances your life in any way.
